Moving to Wolfville from Ottawa 5

It is unusual looking sky in that day.
Cloud seems to scream for its short life...It cannot keep its shape forever.
It has to be changed and must turn into new shape.

It look like that the cloud is against its fate...

Suddenly, wind's blowing cloud into my face.......The wind said, "It's time to go"....
I didn't know what the meaning of it. I just heard and being carefully listening to them.

"It's your turn."

Probably, I was in a very sweet dream and not conscious enough
but I'm pretty sure what I'm told to do.

"Go for a trip!"

I went to "Enterprise A Car" in New Minas and rented a Ford Escape Hybrid.
It is black, heavily looking, and big space inside. It is a sexy car.

I drove this car all the way of the trip from Wolfville to Halifax airport, Halifax Downtown, Peggy's Cove, and Lunenburg

In Wolfville, we went to Grand-Pré National Historic Site.
It is the site where all the history of Acadian is placed.
It is very interesting and I did understand how the Acadian cultivated and grow their place.
Dike is one of most historic resources there.
I'm usually running along the dike and did not care about how it had been developed for the agricultural purpose. It is very based on scientific method to protect the damage from salt water. I was really surprised how it makes sense and well implemented. It is even not processed or experimented in academic institution but Acadian already knew that.....

Do you know the sad atmosphere of this picture?
It is the place where the deportation of Acadian happened almost 300 years ago.
It was historic tragedy for Acadia and everyone is separated by that event.
Some are back and others are not.

I don't know the story after that but the descendants could stay in this area and wonder if they live well now....

While we're walking in the Minas Basin, we found Bald Eagle on the top of the tree in the picture.
It is very small but can you find it?

After Grand-Pré National Historic Site, we went to Grand Pré winery and joined the tour guide. It is very nice place to visit and we enjoyed the "ice wine" there except the driver (Me....)

In the gift shop of the winery, we found many nice-looking and still useful tools for setting up the wine tasting.

Their decoration of the winery building is very nice and designed.
The following picture is the gate of the building.
It is designed for grapevine.

Next place is Peggy's Cove.
It was not actually good weather condition on that day.
While driving from Wolfville to Peggy's Cove, it was raining or little sunshine between clouds. We're wondering if we can get new views there.....But we're pleased to be betrayed by the weather.

These are the views we got on that day!
All around the Peggy's Cove is cloudy and only here is very fine weather.....unbelievably we're lucky.

In the gift shop in Peggy's Cove, I found the waterproof hat and being ready to go around the cove :P

We drove to Lunenburg after short visiting in Peggy's Cove.

After we came back to Wolfville, we went to Paddy's for the dinner.  We stayed Paddy's probably couple of hours...talking, talking, and talking each other. Many topic are like my childhood and why I choose Canada to come to study.

and the night goes on.....

Next day is the last day for the trip......I drove them Halifax Downtown and we enjoyed there. Then...to the airport.

Stay Tuned.

I did not know dyke can spell in dike. I always write as dyke. Interesting.
