Friends from Nova Scotia in Canada

I usually go outside in the weekend to find something interesting and new. I walked to north in a direction and found the business office areas called "ARK Hills". It's one last project before the Roppongi Hills was built.

The whole building is a little bit out of date design now, compared to Roppongi Hills but I love the atmosphere which is from the whole area surrounded by the buildings.

It looked like the ARK Hills pursued the beauty of an adult person compared to the Roppongi Hills that looks representing a vivid kid.

Everytime I have passed the building and I'm thinking why people do not build an colourful buildings even just adding a couple of more colours to paint the buildings. Most of the buildings are just white, gray, or dark. Some are slightly reddish with orange but most are dull.

There is a law to restrict the colourful painting on buildings so I can understand that we can't really do that. One building I passed by was somehow attracted me since it reached my criteria of the beauty.
In that weekend, I met my friends, Jean-Marc and Solveig Giffin. I have known them when I just arrived in Nova Scotia and started to study at Acadia University.

Jean-Marc was studying a Music and he's also studying a computer science later on, and graduate double degree.  He's just genius guy who I have ever met in my life.

I'm not much as smart as him at all but he's pretty generous and we're keeping a good friendship until now and so on.

Solveig was studying a music therapy and she's going to do an internship to be an professional music therapist. She has a great humor and always smile on her face.

Both of them just got married last year. I attended the wedding and it was a really fun time.

We met around 3 pm and chatting until we noticed that we were hungry.... :P  We went to the HardRock Cafe and enjoyed a very tasty dinner there.

The HardRock Cafe has many great musicians goods on the wall and I'm kinda surprised how the artists found the place since it's a little bit hidden in the Ueno station where I met Jean-Marc and Solveig.

I ordered both Nachos and HUGE humburger.

Nachos! Oh man, it's a starter kit for us.

Humburger! That's ridiculously big one and I finished it :P

It was very fun time and I feel very sad at the same time since the time passed so fast.

I'm already back to Japan and started to work in Tokyo but my memories at Nova Scotia always brightly bring me back to there in my mind.

I'm allowed to go back to Canada again next three years and have chance to immigrate too.

I'm obviously in a dilemma now.....

Stay Tuned.....M.K
