I love this title, software developer, sounds more than just a programmer.
Of course, software developer will write a program for computer so they are programmer in terms of itself. Programmer represents person who programs something. This does not mean that the person is responsible for developing something new. They could be just a person who writes a program to automate some functionality. Software developer is responsible to write some new code. He or she does not deserve to be entitled as software developer if they cannot write something new and creative.
Title can lie so we have to watch what the person actually do.
But for me, the title defines my responsibility for developing something new.
I'm so excited and being scared of refraining from development....means I'm not creative anymore...To avoid this, I'll be well prepared and just perform awesome job!
I will be software developer, more than just a programmer.
