Britannia Park

46 days have past since I came back to Canada. I count days from the date when I were back to Canada until now. There is no reason to do so but I want to make sure that I spend my limited life so I can say that I have survived 46 days in Canada.

After I experience the earthquake and family affairs in Japan, I truely understood that I have to choose my way by myself. It may sound cruel but I cannot help my family by myself and need more training to do so. I somehow gave up        helping my family in Japan and decided to focuse on my training in business and life. I will definitely help my family in the near future but not now. I will take my family to here once I settle in and make a peace life. Until then, I    will continue my daily business training and never forget who I work for.

So what's like 46 days?
What was happening until now?

Well, I stayed at one of my friends' apartment 3 weeks and looked for a job.
He offered me a place to stay in Halifax and I took an advantage of it.
I'm offered a job right away from Ottawa where I worked for them last summer after I started to look for a job in Halifax. I really wanted to get a job in Halifax to stay but I decided to go to work in Ottawa since my savings are getting less and I have to make money soon.

He said he's sad when I told him that I'm leaving for Ottawa and I'm very sorry him. He helped me to find a job and offered me a place to stay....even fun time by watching a Stargate TV series...It was a little big sound and screen for me though :P

I think true friend is like that.

On the last day at his place, he sent me off at Halifax Int'l Airport.
We had a dinner at Boston Pizza and he drove me to the airport.
I thank him very much and I really appreciate his kindness and generosity :)

After moved in Ottawa, I was busy to setup both life and work environment.
First week is a pile of tasks and I was just being busy.
Second week is getting smooth as everything is set.
Third week is an ordinary week as I'm get used to do everything.

now....relaxed...

On the weekend of my third week in Ottawa, I went to Bayshore, Britannia, and Lincoln heights to look for next place to stay. My current place is a temporary contract and I have to find one before next year.
I love a riverside park areas so I walked all the way from Bayshore to Lincoln heights.

It is a sunny day and very clear sky as you see the picture above.
I walked to Britannia park and very enjoyed the place.

I met one old gentleman sitting on a wheel chair and we had some conversation in front of the beach. He knew one Japanese family and told me the story when Japanese family stayed in Caanda long before I come to Canada. The story is       interesting and I enjoyed it. I had to leave for finding an apartment so I said goodbye to him and I left there.

I walked until Carling avenue and took a rest in a bagle shop while checking all apartments I listed. It is a very good bagle shop and I had a garlic salmon cream cheese bagle with a tasty coffee.

I spent one valuable day.
I counted the day.

How do I live tomorrow?
No body knows yet.

Stay Tuned.

You amused me immensely at Ottawa last time you came, though. Hahaha. Too bad that the other two roommates are gone. I changed a lot but Ottawa probably didn't. I transferred out of the program to another one!
Well, notwithstanding, I wish you all the luck, and with full of hope, when I become legit cool (i.e. get accepted to a graduate school), we can hang around.
I don't actually know how to publish it with my name so, I'll just sign here: --Jung.
